Rural Economy

Bishop's Castle farming, forestry, wood industry and service companies are working in partnership towards investment into a biomass fuel power plant on the Bishop's Castle Industrial Estate.

Sustainable Energy

It is intended that the plant will generate power and heat from wood chip and energy crops to provide sustainable energy in support of the local economy.
